DULUTH, Minn. (Northern News Now) - In the wake of Black Friday and Cyber Monday comes Giving Tuesday. To mark the occasion, we’re highlighting the work done by a Northland business owner, who’s inspiring others in our community to give.

If you’ve spotted these little treat bags around town, you already know the proceeds support a great cause here at Animal Allie’s. But what you may not know is that the baker behind the scenes adds her own generosity—donating with every single treat she makes.

Baker Paddy Guerin says, “dogs really love them,” but that’s because she has spent years perfecting the homemade treats.

Each bag costs Guerin about $2 to create the treat mixture, package them, and distribute them. But that doesn’t include the hours of personal time she spends baking the treats.
