MADISON (WKOW) -- A Madison man entered an agreement with prosecutors, pleading guilty to one of the ten pending child pornography charges against him , according to online court records.

Benjamin Guppy, 40, was arrested in August 2024 after a report by Google to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children referenced a Google user with child sexual abuse material in their Google Drive.

According to a criminal complaint, Guppy admitted to police that some of the materials contained children as young as “Maybe 10 [years old].”

In exchange for his guilty plea, the court dismissed nine additional child pornography charges against him, following a motion by prosecutors.

Guppy was sentenced to three years in prison, followed by a year of extended supervision.
