HARRISON COUNTY, Miss. (WLOX) - Coast leaders are under scrutiny from the state’s top economic leader.

A letter from Mississippi Development Authority Executive Director Bill Cork says the coast has lost out on big economic opportunities due to a lack of strategy.

State Senator Scott Delano admits a lack of cohesiveness has been a problem for decades.

“It’s not new news that we don’t get along that well and that we could do a better job of coordinating a strategic plan for economic development projects,” said State Senator Scott Delano.
