There's been a changing of the guard over at Wayne High School.
The Generals have won the last three SAC titles, going 26-1 in conference play over that stretch. But at the end of last season, Wayne said goodbye to its four leading scorers – Chase Barnes, HJ Dillard III, Khalyn Williams-Thomas and Preston Comer, as well as Harold Mack, all of whom were key contributors to the Generals' recent success.
Now, it's time for the next generation of Generals to see if it can keep the championships coming.
"They really taught our younger guys how to win in practice," coach Anthony Brewer said of the recently graduate seniors. "Guys like LaShawn Green and Tyree Eldridge, they really took those lessons to heart, and I can see them passing it down to our younger and less experienced guys. The goal
