ST PAUL, Minn. — A Rosemount man is charged with murder after a shooting inside a St. Paul apartment this weekend.

Police were called to the apartment building on North Victoria Street just before 2 a.m. Sunday. There, the victim was found on the floor of the unit with multiple gunshot wounds, the criminal complaint states.

Court documents say officers noticed a running Toyota Camry and heard a loud noise that was possibly a gunshot. When officers ran toward the vehicle, it drove away at a high rate of speed, but crashed into a parked vehicle two blocks away, the complaint says.

The driver, identified as Spencer C. McAloney, 27, matched the suspect description and was taken into custody.
