Waverly Rotary Club’s Parade of Homes Dec. 7 will not only showcase local homes dressed for the holidays but will raise money to combat local hunger.
“Our purpose is for food insecurity. All proceeds will go to food insecurity in our community,” said Pam Egli, past president of the organization. “We partner with the food bank so that we get more bang for our buck.”
The event is Sunday from 3:30-7 p.m. Tickets are $25 (free for ages 16 or under) and can be bought through a Rotarian, at the first home visited, through the Waverly Rotary Club’s Facebook page or by scanning the QR code found on event posters in the community.
Three of the featured homes are in town, and three are grouped together northeast of Waverly.
