Xioa’s hat trick helped Keystone Kraken-Rothrock (6-0-0) edge Susquehanna Stampede-Roth (2-6-0) 3–2 on Monday night.
Keystone struck first when Xiao buried a goal off an assist from Gavin Schatt in the first period.
Chase Darr extended the Kraken lead in the second with an early second-period goal.
The Susquehanna Stampede responded with two goals from Adam Wilson and Gabriel Whelan to tie the game at 2 heading into the final period.
The man of the hour, Xiao netted the go-ahead goal with 14:10 remaining in the game. He added an insurance goal just six minutes later.
Kraken goalie Robert Chambers stopped 27 of 29 shots and earned the victory.
