Tim Hasselbeck has been around quality football players his entire life, so he knows a good one when he sees one.
That started at home in Massachusetts, where his father Don’s day job was NFL tight end, primarily with the New England Patriots before other stops, including the Minnesota Vikings. Then Tim and older brother Matt played quarterback at Boston College and forged their own lengthy NFL careers.
Tim and his family settled in Nashville and he started coaching his son Taylor’s fifth-grade football team in 2018. That’s when he got to know Justin Hopkins.
