GOREVILLE — It’s a good thing that senior guard TJ Hamilton didn’t miss the bus Monday night as he helped lead the Benton Rangers to a 70-38 victory over the Harrisburg Bulldogs in the opening round of the Goreville Invitational.
Hamilton scored 11 of his team’s 13 first-period points and finished with 27 altogether on the night, a career high. He was joined in double figures by Nolan Schafer with 16 points. Clay Gage added eight points.
