Bridgeport scored 26 points in the fourth quarter, giving new coach Alton Sanders a season-opening win over Kingston.

The Bearcats led 35-26 after three quarters before putting the game away in the fourth for a 61-39 win Monday at Bridgeport.

Thomas McKinley carried the offensive load, scoring 27 points with four rebounds and three assists. Kemaureon Woods followed with a double-double, scoring 12 points with 10 assists.

Kaydin Burton added 10 points for the Bearcats, who face an early Tri-Valley Conference showdown Tuesday against Freeland.
