The Ole Miss Rebels Nation’s nightmare hit reality. Their head coach, Lane Kiffin, packed his bags for the LSU Tigers, leaving a one-loss squad behind. The fallout was instant. Kiffin claimed Ole Miss straight-up ghosted him when he had high hopes of driving the program to the playoffs. The Rebels however, denied the claims.

“Ole Miss officials dispute Kiffin’s account of this, by the way,” reporter Ross Dellenger wrote on X on December 1, in a post responding directly to Kiffin’s emotional statement.
