MORRIS, Minn. — Fueled by 23 points by Jacob Cook and 21 points from the free-throw line, Concordia beat Minnesota-Morris 83-69 in nonconference men's basketball Monday night.

Jackson Loge rattled off 21 points while Peyton Belka added 16 and Payton Schell 11 to make it a quartet of Cobbers in double figures.

The Cobbers had the lead for all but 2 minutes and 39 seconds of the game, but after Schell's 3-pointer to make it 7-5, it was all Concordia from there.

Loge led the Cobbers (5-0, 0-0 MIAC) with nine rebounds, four steals and two blocks.

Concordia went 21 of 28 from the free-throw line while the Cougars were 4 of 6. Morris was 11 of 36 (30.6%) from 3-point territory while Concordia was 4 of 17 (23.5%).

The Cobbers play at Saint John's at 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6.
