WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - Law enforcement officers across Sedgwick County had the chance to see Illuminations at Botanica for free on Monday.
Botanica and the Wichita Metro Crime Commission partnered for the third year to host this event. Over 1,200 first responders and their families attended.

Botanica said it is a way to thank law enforcement officers for what they do. Officers said that they appreciate having a day set aside to enjoy the event with their family.
“Taking time away from the busy life of what’s going on in the world, and being able to relax and giggle, it feels really good and relaxing for everybody,” said Ryan Lee.
The event was open to all law enforcement officers in Sedgwick County
