TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - A portion of West Irvington Road was shut down Monday night due to a crash.

The Pima County Sheriff’s Department said Irvington was closed in both directions at South Joseph Avenue.

The PCSD said the accident happened around 7:50 p.m., and one person was injured.

13 News has reached out to the PCSD for more information about the accident.

It was the third serious crash in southern Arizona on Monday.

At least one person died in an apparent pedestrian accident near Fort Lowell and Oracle in Tucson.

Two pedestrians were injured in a crash near Interstate 19 in Green Valley.
