King Charles has formally stripped his brother, the former Prince Andrew , of his remaining royal honors.

An entry in The Gazette—the U.K.’s official public record—on Monday (December 1), shows the King ordered Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor ’s name removed from the rolls of both the Order of the Garter and the Royal Victorian Order, according to People .

It noted that the action should be treated as dated October 30, 2025, which was the same day Buckingham Palace announced the start of the process to remove Andrew ’s style, titles and honors .

The notice came from the Central Chancery of the Orders of Knighthood, issued through St. James’s Palace.
