MADISON (WKOW) -- This holiday season, AT&T and Compudopt are launching the Boys & Girls Clubs of Dane County's "Pay It Forward Campaign" by donating 150 refurbished laptops to club teens. The initiative aims to bridge the digital divide for teens who lack access to technology at home.
The laptops, funded by AT&T, will help club members complete their homework. In addition to the laptops, AT&T will donate 100 backpacks filled with school supplies as part of a national backpack drive.
This event marks the start of the Boys & Girls Club of Dane County's annual "Pay It Forward" holiday giving campaign, which supports youth and families across the county. The club plans to host events throughout December, reaching more than 1,000 community members.
