LOS ANGELES - Netflix is giving fans of “Stranger Things” a chance to say goodbye in an unexpected way: on the big screen. The streaming giant announced that the series finale of its hit sci‑fi drama will premiere simultaneously on Netflix and in select theaters across the U.S. and Canada on December 31, 2025.
The finale, a two‑hour episode, will mark the end of the Hawkins saga that began in 2016. More than 350 theaters will host screenings, offering fans a way to watch Eleven, Mike, and the rest of the crew face their final battle against Vecna. Screenings will run through Jan. 1, 2026, which aligns with the global streaming release.
Tickets for the theatrical event go on sale Dec. 2, 2025, through outlets including Regal Cinemas, Cineplex, Fandango, Atom Tickets, and Ticketmaster. T
