NEW ORLEANS — More than 2,500 customers were without power in New Orleans Monday night, according to Entergy's outage map.
At one point, 2,574 customers were impacted around 9 p.m. The outage was reported Uptown and the West Riverside neighborhood.
“Entergy New Orleans is aware of an outage currently impacting approximately 2,500 customers in the Uptown area,z' an Entergy spokesperson said in a statement to WWL. "Entergy crews are working as quickly and safely as possible to restore service. Cause is under investigation at this time; believed to be related to weather impacts.”
