Walking into the Bay City Central gymnasium for the boys basketball season opener, the Spartans felt ready to take on the world. With just one returning starter – but the same recipe that delivered a program-best 19-win season a year ago – Pinconning picked up right where it left off.
Playing an ultra-aggressive game – and getting the ball to Dayne Ivey – the Spartans rolled to a 63-44 victory over the Central Wolves.
