Waldo cancels election as city council seats go uncontested

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - Voters in Waldo will not head to the polls on Tuesday.

No election will be held because no city council seat was contested.

Incumbent Shannon Boal keeps her seat. Wendy Vivas will take the seat left vacant by Carolyn Wade. Jerome McIntyre will take the seat left by Rick Pisano.
