CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) -- The women's team improved to 6-1 overall after an impressive win over Le Moyne 100 to 28 Sunday afternoon.

Head Coach Shauna Green said she liked seeing her girls set the tone early.

Six different Illini reached double digit figures for scoring during the game led by Cearah Parchment with 17 points and 10 steals, tying the programs single game record for steals.

With one more game tomorrow before Big 10 play begins they like where they are as a team on the court a month into the season.
