The New England Patriots beat the New York Giants 33-15 on “Monday Night Football” , and quarterback Drake Maye put up another impressive performance.

Maye threw for 282 yards and two touchdowns and is now the leader in the NFL MVP race.

As of Monday, Maye is the frontrunner for MVP with odds of -125, according to FanDuel. Meanwhile, Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford trails closely behind at +130.

Stafford was the clear favorite heading into Week 13; however, a pair of interceptions and a lost fumble in a defeat against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday caused Stafford to fall behind Maye.

If Maye maintains his exceptional performance, he should be in line for MVP. The Patriots have a bye week in Week 14, but they return on Dec. 14 for a crucial matchup against the Buffal
