BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - A Texas A&M sophomore died early Saturday in Austin, hours after attending a tailgate for Friday’s Lone Star Showdown football game between Texas A&M and the University of Texas.
The family of Brianna Aguilera says they are looking for answers after learning of her death. While they know Aguilera attended a tailgate, they say what happened afterward is unclear.
The Austin Police Department says Aguilera died just before 1 a.m. on Saturday, November 29, at a student apartment complex near the University of Texas campus. The Travis County Medical Examiner will investigate her cause of death, but foul play is not suspected.
