ELYRIA, Ohio -- Lorain County Transit is inviting residents, businesses, schools and medical providers to take part in a new survey designed to help shape the future of public transportation within the county.

The brief online questionnaire is one of the first steps in developing the county’s Transportation Development Plan, a long-range strategy focused on improving routes, expanding service and ensuring transit better meets the needs of riders, according to a news release.
