That moment came early in the first period of Monday’s heated game between the Pittsburgh Penguins and Philadelphia Flyers when Blake Lizotte delivered a brutal retaliatory shot straight to Garnet Hathaway’s manhood.

It started when Hathaway chased down Lizotte from behind and crushed him into the boards, leaving Lizotte bloodied on the nose.
