Joseph Swartz, the New York City-area former owner of several nursing homes throughout Northeast Arkansas, may have been pardoned by the president, but that doesn’t absolve him of his convictions in state court, a spokesman for Arkansas Attorney General Tim Griffin said Monday.
Schwartz, former owner of Skyline Health, which operated numerous nursing homes in the state, was pardoned by Nov. 14 by President Donald Trump, and was released from a federal prison and after serving only about three months of a three-year federal sentence. kAmx?
