BATTLE CREEK — Battle Creek teams won their share of championships a year ago — both league titles and district crowns.

Harper Creek and Pennfield shared the Interstate 8 Conference title. St. Philip finished first in the Southern Central Athletic Association West Division. And, Lakeview won its second straight district trophy.

Can these boys basketball programs continue with that momentum? Pennfield and St. Philip brings back a lot from it starting lineups. There are some new faces in place that will help decide that with graduation losses at Harper Creek and Lakeview.

Meanwhile, Battle Creek Central has a young roster that has questions marks but high hopes to have an improved season.
