A Sarasota bar and live music venue that recently revealed a new name and owners has now announced a partnership with one of the area's most popular food trucks.

The Parrot Live, which has taken over Big Top Live's former space on 975 Cattlemen Road, announced on social media that Smokin' Momma Lora's BBQ will be its "exclusive food truck provider." Smokin' Momma Lora's BBQ owner Lora Rust Miller told the Herald-Tribune that she and The Parrot Live are currently working on a schedule that works for both of them, and she should have a more set schedule after fulfilling prior commitments until the end of December.
