Rex Curtiss Bush (Papa), age 72, of St. George, Utah, passed away peacefully at his home on Nov. 21, 2025, from renal failure as a consequence of chronic myelomonocytic leukemia. His passing leaves a hole in the hearts and lives of everyone who knew and loved him.

He was born in Longview, Washington, to Rex Cole Bush and Arline Quanstrom Bush Fitzgerald. He was the 2nd of six children. Growing up in Albany, Oregon, where he met his wife as a teenager. Rex served a mission in Italy for the LDS church. He graduated cum laude, receiving his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University and his law degree from the University of Utah. He married the love of his life, Janet Rae Hicks, on July 16, 1988. They started a solo law practice where he and Jan worked
