Lisa Ann Phelps passed away Monday, Nov. 24, 2025, in St. George, Utah.

She was born July 20, 1956, in Nagoya, Japan, to Ambrose Waldo Stone and Leona Marie Giles while her Father was stationed there during his service in the US Air Force. Lisa married James Wallace Phelps on June 14, 1976, in Reno, Nevada, and they were sealed in the Oakland, California, LDS temple in August 1977.

Lisa was raised in Japan, Athens, Georgia, Bangor, Maine, and when her Father retired from the Air Force, they moved to the Reno, Nevada area, where her Father worked at the VA Hospital.

While Lisa and James were living in Reno, he enlisted in the US Air Force. James was enlisted from 1977 to 1981. During the time James was enlisted, Lisa lived in Aurora, Colorado, then Victorvi
