It is at this time that we remember our mother, Anne L. Warner. She entered the eternities quietly in her sleep at Red Cliffs Care Center in St. George, Utah.
Anne was born Rhoda Ann Ladd on March 20, 1946, to Margaret Rose and Roy E. Ladd in Montrose, Colorado. Her early life was met with strife due to a difficult relationship between her parents. Her mother took ill and asked the state of Utah to help. She and her siblings, Janette, Linda and Robert, were taken in by the state and fostered in various homes around the area. When Margaret petitioned for them to be returned, her request was not granted, and the children were entered into the adoption system.
Robert had been fostered by William and Ida Ogilvie, but couldn’t be adopted by them due to age. Sub
