It was an exciting week of playoff football action as four Savannah teams were playing for berths in the state semifinals on Friday night.
Benedictine and Calvary Day rolled to dominating victories as the Cadets advanced to the Class 4A state semis, while Calvary punched its ticket to the Class A-3A Private School semifinals.
Jenkins lost a close game at West Laurens as the Warriors' season came to an end, and Savannah Christian lost at Fellowship Christian in its final game of the season.
There were also some impressive performances on the basketball court last week.
