A collision in Edinburgh saw emergency services on the scene on Tuesday morning. The incident, understood to have involved two lorries and a Lothian Bus, happened at around 8.15am on Maybury Road.

The condition of those involved is not currently known. The road remained closed just after 9am, with drivers warned of delays.

Buses were diverted from the area as emergency services attended. Images from the scene show two HGVs in the middle of the carriageway and a single-decker bus ion the grass verge with debris strewn across the road.

Lothian Buses said on their updates page: "Due to a road closure buses are unable to serve Maybury Road at Cammo and are instead terminating at Cramond Place until further notice."
