Chicago and Styx , two bands that got their start in the Windy City, will play together for the first time on a national co-headlining tour that will stop at Northwell at Jones Beach Theater next summer.
The Wantagh show is scheduled for July 23, 2026, part of the bands' 25-date Windy Cities Tour. Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. via Live Nation.
Chicago, the rare rock band built around a horn section, formed in its namesake city in the late 1960s and scored many jazzed-up pop hits during the 1970s and '80s. Early singles included "Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is?” and “Beginnings,” both released under the name Chicago Transit Authority; after a name change to Chicago came such hits as “Saturday in the Park,” the No. 1 ballad “If You Leave Me Now" and "Hard Habit to Break."
