BEAVER TWP., Ohio - Firefighters had to contend with pelting snowfall and slippery roads as they were called out to battle flames in Beaver Township early Tuesday.

Firefighters from three departments responded to a garage fire on the property of a landscaping business on South Avenue.

Crews from Beaver Township, Springfield Township, and Boardman were called to MVP Property Maintenance around 12:30 a.m.

According to investigators, first responders found flames coming from the garage.

Authorities blocked a portion of South Avenue while crews worked to extinguish the fire. The road has since reopened.

Police said no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
