A major motorway is facing severe delays after several vehicles collided during rush hour on Tuesday. Two lanes on the M25 in Hertfordshire anti-clockwise between J27 (Epping) and J25 (Waltham Cross) have been shut due to a collision involving two cars and two heavy goods vehicles.

Motorists are facing delays of up to 90 minutes, officials have confirmed. The National Highways said: "Police are in attendance and being assisted by National Highways Traffic Officers. A recovery crew are en-route to remove the badly damaged heavy goods vehicle which is stranded in 2 lanes."
