CHAPEL HILL — There are a lot of situations running through the mind of UNC basketball coach Hubert Davis during the course of a game.
Play calls, rotations and timeouts are part of the in-game grind for the Tar Heels ’ fifth-year leader. Included in juggling those scenarios is how the Tar Heels plan to handle two-foul situations in the first half.
“It’s up and down, up and down. It’s on a daily basis,” Davis said Dec. 1 during a press conference inside the Smith Center media room.
“Sometimes I’m like, ‘No, let’s keep ‘em in there.’ Then he gets a third foul and that’s not a good decision. Sometimes I take ‘em out and it’s a good, no, it’s a bad decision.
