Iconic band Garbage are set to headline at Edinburgh Castle . Shirley Manson, Butch Vig, Duke Erikson and Steve Marker will hit the stage on Saturday, July 11.

Tickets for the gig will go on sale on Friday, December 10 at 10am. Garbage was formed in 1993 , and went on to have worldwide success.

Their three decades of music has seen them release eight studio albums, with hits like Only Happy When It Rains, Stupid Girl, and the James Bond theme The World Is Not Enough.

They released their eighth album earlier this year, with some branding it 'their best album since their debut'. Their performance at Edinburgh Castle is part of Garbage's year-long return to the stage - having done shows across America, new Zealand and Australia.
