Welcome to the IU Health Herald-Times Athlete of the Week poll for Nov. 24-29.

Congratulations to last week's winner, North girls basketball player Ashley Stegemoller, who received 51.2% of the over whopping 96,000 votes cast, topping Owen Valley girls wrestler Alyssa Livingston (33.4%) and South girls swimmer Mia Bishop (12%).

Our poll asking 'Who is the boys basketball preseason player of the year?' drew 25,000 votes with Lighthouse Christian's Aiden Jones getting 39% of the vote (9,778) to top Owen Valley's Joey Richardson (37.9%) by fewer than 300 votes.
