Thieves Stole Cash, Equipment, and a Barbershop Pet During an Early-Morning Break-In

Burglars who struck a South Los Angeles barbershop on Thanksgiving morning not only stole cash and equipment but also vanished with the shop’s beloved Savannah cat, leaving employees desperate for his return.

The break-in occurred around 2:30 a.m. on November 27 at LA Fresh Cuts Barbershop in the 1800 block of East Florence Avenue, according to owner Joe Gomez. Days later, staff were still repairing damage and sorting through the aftermath after the “three burglars rammed a truck into our business and destroyed our front wall, door, and windows.”
