Bus passengers across Wales will be able to travel for just £1 at certain times this December. Transport for Wales has announced the special evening fare offer on selected TrawsCymru bus routes to make "festive travel more affordable".

As part of the offer, which runs from December 1 until January 2, passengers can travel for just £1 on single journeys after 5pm. TfW said the deal will help "families, friends and communities come together over the Christmas period."

To use the offer, passengers must simply board a bus travelling on a route covered by the offer after 5pm and ask for a £1 single ticket.

£1 fares are available on the following routes:

T1 : Aberystwyth – Carmarthe
