SALEM Kravitz Delicatessen, Youngstown’s original Jewish Deli, will be branching out to Salem with plans to open in late winter or early spring 2026, the business announced in a Facebook post .
After the announcement of closing its McKinley Avenue Garden Café location, the Kravitz Deli team purchased its new location at 127 Penn Avenue in Salem.
Owner Matt Rydarowicz stated that the new building will feature mainly deli and to-go options, with limited seating for dining. He also stated that they plan to bring "all of their food" to the new location.
Rydarowicz mentioned hopes to be open for St. Patrick's Day 2026 to have deals on food for the holiday.
