KALAMAZOO, MI –– Keegan McCue has found his new home.
And it’s right here in Kalamazoo.
The versatile, fiery and physical Kalamazoo United senior athlete announced his commitment to Western Michigan University via social media on Monday night, pledging to the close-to-home Division-I program after earning a preferred walk-on spot earlier this year.
McCue held offers from Valparaiso and Northwood, among others, but committed to the Broncos after three visits in Kalamazoo this season. He becomes the seventh in-state commit for WMU for the Class of 2026.
McCue, a two-way United phenom, became the Titans’ heartbeat over his stellar varsity career –– leading United to back-to-back Division 5 district championships in 2024 and 2025.
