Syracuse, N.Y. — A 3-9 record and a season-ending, eight-game losing streak paints a good picture about how bad a team is. However, many factors led to Syracuse winning seven fewer games than it did in 2024.
The blame for Syracuse’s season cannot be placed on any one player, coach or position group. Syracuse’s issues began in last winter’s transfer portal and spilled out onto the field.
