Former ITV presenter Holly Willoughby has pleaded guilty to knocking a scooter rider off his bike while driving her Mini Cooper, worth £25,000. The 44-year-old issued the plea today, having committed the offence on August 28.
According to The Sun newspaper , her married name appeared on a list of cases to be heard today at Lavender Hill Magistrates' Court. Willoughby could have opted to appear in person, but she reportedly entered a guilty plea without attending.
Express.co.uk has previously contacted her representatives and, more recently, the Crown Prosecution Service for comment.
It comes after Willoughby has been tipped to take over from Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman on Strictly Come Dancing . The TV star is one of the several names rumoured to be in contention to fill
