CARIBOU, Maine (WAGM) - A multi-vehicle crash on Caribou Road in New Canada sent three people to the hospital. Just after 3pm on Nov. 30 th , Maine State Police received a report about a multi-vehicle crash on Caribou Road.
Troopers say 35-year-old Leah Caldwell of Limestone was driving north on Caribou Road in a 2023 Toyota RAV4 with her passenger, 36-year-old Alycia Fox. At the same time, 75-year-old Rudolph St. Peter of Cross Lake was heading south on Caribou Road in a 2024 Dodge Ram pickup.
Investigators say Caldwell’s vehicle crossed the centerline into St. Peter’s lane, and the two collided head-on.
Behind Caldwell, 59-year-old Wayne Pelletier of Fort Kent, driving a Ford F‑150, couldn’t avoid the wreck, hitting the other vehicles, and sliding off the road.
