Drivers could face higher diesel costs at the pump - thanks to global political events. Diesel motorists in England could be at risk from the impact from US President Donald Trump's potential military intervention in South America.

Trump's machinations in South America could send the price of oil spiralling, it has been warned . It comes as President, Mr Trump, calls for military action in Venezuela.

Posting on social media site Truth Social, President Trump announced that the airspace above Venezuela would be "closed in its entirety". He said that the warning was for "all airlines, pilots, drug dealers and human traffickers".
