MANITOWOC, Wis. (WBAY) - Black Friday and Cyber Monday are over, and now comes arguably the least commercial day of the shopping season, Giving Tuesday.
Several nonprofits are partnering to help each other out -- by competing against each other.
Tuesday is the 2nd annual Battle of the Nonprofits.
Organizations will ring bells at Salvation Army red kettles across Manitowoc County to raise money.
Nonprofits keep half of the money that’s donated at their red kettle location Tuesday; the other half goes to the Salvation Army.
The Salvation Army of Manitowoc County says there are so many organizations in the community that do wonderful things, and this is a way to support those missions as well.
