A woman in her 60s has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car in Wallsend . Emergency services were called to Windsor Drive on Saturday afternoon following the collision.
A spokesperson for Northumbria Police said: "Shortly after 4.05pm on Saturday (November 29), we received a report of a collision involving a car and a female pedestrian on Windsor Drive in Wallsend. Emergency services attended where a woman – aged in her 60s – was taken to hospital for treatment of injuries which were not believed to be life-threatening.
