Two people have been charged in relation to the shooting of a 16-year-old boy in Sheffield, after being arrested in Aberdeen. The teen was shot in London Road in the Yorkshire city at around 5pm on Monday, November 24.

He was rushed to hospital where he remains in a critical condition . South Yorkshire Police said a man and a woman were charged with related offences on Monday night and will appear in Sheffield Magistrates’ Court today, Tuesday December 2.

Tanzir Ali, 26, of Glencoe Road, Sheffield, is charged with attempted murder and possessing a firearm without a certificate. Sharna Osborne, 23, of Greenhill Road, Sheffield, is charged with assisting an offender.
